This is a few weeks old but Mason is still figuring out his baby food.  Thought I would post because his faces are too funny.

Quick playdate (23 weeks)

We had a super quick playdate with Henry and Katie Stone on Monday 12/10, but I had to post these cute pics! We love having them back in St. Louis!!

24 weeks...Moving and Loving Apple products

The month of December has been a crazy busy month. The first 2 weekends we were in KC (KA Christmas Party & Madeline's Christening) and last weekend we went to Chicago for Erica's boyfriends 40th birthday! During that I had 2 work trips (Lawrence and Dallas). Mikael has been an amazing support during my unexpectedly busy travel schedule this month. And I feel like I got a real taste of what it's like to be a working/traveling mom. I missed my boys and Lily a ton. Mason is still doing great at school and his teachers love him. They all think he is the world traveler (which is kinda true). He has been great during all of our road trips in December.

We actually went up to Chicago early Thursday morning, since Mikael had to work in Lemont (suburb outside Chicago) on Thursday. We spent Thursday night downtown and then Friday & Saturday stayed at the Majestic, which is near Erica and Joes new place. We had a great time seeing Allie Winters and her fiancé Jim. They watched Mason for us on Saturday night so we could go to Joe's 40th birthday party. Erica did a great job planning the weekend and the party! It just makes us wish they lived closer! Their new place is beautiful and we can't wait to visit again soon! Also, on Saturday we went out to brunch with Jamie Hagedorn and Colby which was delicious. Unfortunately Mason kind of had a cold that started on Thursday when we got to Chicago. We went to his doctor on Monday and they started him on breathing treatments due to having RSV (bronchioatis). We really are so lucky to have the best baby ever. Even though he isn't feeling well he still smiles and tries to play. This week has been a little challenging because we don't want to send him to school, so we have been rotating working from home and my mom has been a huge help too!!

This afternoon Mason decided to let me in on a little secret.... He can crawl!!!!! I have upload a video to prove it! It's the cutest thing! Also, Mikael and I have realized we are in trouble.... Mason has not been a fan of the breathing treatments that we have to do 3x a day, or the nose saline drops, or the suction nose bulb. However, if we put baby Einstein on the iPad while doing those things he could care less about the treatments, drops, etc. what a little rock star!!!! So clearly if at 5.5 months he loves the IPad , I can only Imagine what he will like in a few years.

We had a great weekend in KC for Madeline's christening. It was fun spending time with everyone. Mason kinda confused us on Saturday because both times he rode in the mini van he got super fussy and cried and couldn't be consoled until he was out of the mini van. Maybe he is just a SUV baby??? He did love eating his carrots at dinner though and ate the entire container. He didn't sleep well Saturday night and woke up several real times crying (again very unlike the Mason we know). Hopefully it's just a phase. When we got home he was very playful and was very into trying to sit up. He has mastered getting his pacifier no matter where it is ( he will roll and scoot to get it). Oh and we love eating our feet!

23 weeks and getting mobile

This evening while visiting the Jeppsons for Madeline's christening, we realized Mason is getting pretty amazing at getting his pacifier. He rolls and scoots on his playmat and in his crib, but tonight was pretty impressive. He is also getting good a staying sitting up by himself!!

22 weeks so far....

We had a busy weekend in Kansas City! We visited The Jeppson clan and had Mikaels annual KA Christmas party. Mason loved playing with his cousins and friends! We are sure if he has lot more energy or what but he has these 20-40 minute playtime a where he is moving and grooving like crazy! He will roll numerous times and actually move 4-6 feet across the floor! It's so cute to watch. And he is babbling up a storm. A few times he has said Momma. But it wasn't necessarily to me. But it sounds so cute. And he is definitely more aware of who mom and dad are. And sometimes he just wants to be held by one if us.

Masons stocking was made by hand by my mom (Mimi)! It is beautiful and something Mason will appreciate forever! It took a lot of time and hard work! It is gorgeous and such a special present! The pictures in the Christmas sleeper were taken on his 5 month birthday. And the sleeper was a gift from my mom too! And we got our 1st family ornament (thanks Lauren and Joe)!
