The Ladies Man...

I feel like I am so nervous for Masons teenage years.... He has always been a flirt since he was a baby; but recently he has really amped up his game.

Last Friday when I picked him up from school I noticed there was a new girl in his class. Each day at pick up one of the teachers comes out of the room to give me a summary of his day. Well that day, the director Karen came out and said how cute mason had been all day. She said they had a new girl, LuLu and he was so nice to her and really welcomed her to the classroom. She continued saying that he played with her all day and kept sharing toys and asking if she wanted them. In my head I was just hoping she wasn about to tell me he started kissing her or something! She then mentioned that LuLu is a cute little girl and she thought mason was a little smitten with her! Ahhhh, I mean it was her first day and mason laid it on thick to basically mark his territory! I just laughed and said yes he is such a flirt! When we went home I asked about her new friend and he asked if we could go to LuLus house!

Then today as I picked him up from school, his teacher Ms. Dana came out and said he had a wonderful day. She also said he just loves the girls. He chases them around with his trucks and always plays with them. She said he must have a little crush on Harper. She did say Harper was a cute little girl. And that he liked playing with her and always wanted to sit by her!

So I guess he has a Wednesday crouch and a Friday crush! They did say he goes between playing with the girls and then must play hard to get and goes with the boys too!

Imagine how petrified I am for grade school!!!! Yikes!!!!

Boo at the Zoo

Last both we went to Boo at the Zoo from 5:30-7:30 and mason had a great time!! We were to lucky to have aunt toots join us! Also Amy Fitch and her girls met us there. Mason loved running with the girls Ava and Lily and enjoyed all the Halloween Lights and decorations!  Christopher enjoyed being in the baby bjorn and looking all around.

4 month check up and updates

Christopher turned 4 months last Friday and we had his check up today (4mo 5days). He still hates shots but was all smiles during the check up. He has been cleared for rice cereal and if that goes well after 1-2 weeks then we can start fruits/veggie baby food. The dr was happy with his growth and development. He had a little flat spot on the back/side of his head so we will work on that and keep him off his back. He still has the little bubble under his tongue but the dr isn't concerned unless it gets bigger.

Weight: 15lb 6oz (57%)
Height: 26 inches (82%)
Head: 17.1in (79%)

Christopher lately:
- he prefers his back
- loves putting everything in his mouth
- is getting good at putting his paci in his mouth if u hand it to him and it's within reach
- can roll from his tummy to back and also rolls like crazy to his side
- he can turn 360 degrees while shimming on his back
- he loves standing up when being held and is super alert
- he is pretty happy unless he is hungry
- he nurses every 3ish hours during the day and we just started giving him a bottle before bed
- his naps are getting more routine, sleeps after he has been awake for 2ish hours and I try to put him down in his crib
- he will always fall asleep on the boppy pillow though if he gets the chance
- he watches and smiles at mason constantly and thinks his big brother is pretty funny
- if the tv is on and he is on his playmat he will try to shimmy his way so he can watch comfortably
- he has lots of pops and just started to drool a bit
- bedtime/nap: we don't swaddle anymore and try to put him in his crib drowsy. He is usually down by 8 (after Mikael gives him a bottle) and wakes up a few times during the night wanting his paci. He typically wakes up around 4-5am to nurse and then goes back down for 2+ hrs. His nap length is very inconsistent but he does nap in the am, afternoon and early evening.
- when he gets a bottle he will drink anywhere from 3-7oz
- he still loves bath time (every few days) but has super dry skin
- he is full of giggles and is so much fun to play with

4 Month Birthday and Fun Fall Weekend!!!

This weekend was fantastic! And we finally had some dry weather!!! Friday night we had a date night with Colleen and Doug (thanks Jen and Elliot for babysitting). It was great to get out as I had a challenging week with Christopher not napping or sleeping at night very well (while Mikael was out of town). But we made it through it! On Saturday we went to Trick or Track at the Musuem of Transportation and met the Stines there! It was a darling event and Mason lived wearing his halloween costume! After the event we went home to take naps. That evening we went to the Longview Fall Festival! I think both boys were worn out from the morning so we didn't stay too long or make it to the fireworks.
Loving storytime "little red riding hood"
Pulling the train bell
Boys will always like trains!!
Christopher enjoyed most the event and then fell asleep at the end
Best friends!

Sunday morning we went to cheer on Uncle Joe at the 1/2 marathon! Mason warmed up to it and loved it!!
