Christmas Visit at Heanys

We went to Columbus the day after Christmas and had an awesome time with the Heany's, Potwora's and Gigi and Grandad! We exchanged presents, went to a Bounce House place and went bowling/mini golf. The boys loved getting a ton of play time with their cousins!

Visiting aunt toots classroom

I asked mason what he wanted to do on his Christmas break and his first request was to visit Aunt Toots kindergarten class. So we planned a visit and it happened to be on Polar Express Day! The boys loved playing with her students, watching part of the movie and drinking hot chocolate. Mason jumped right into playing with the students, while C was a little more reserved and wanted me within  reach. They are so lucky to have such an awesome aunt!

Well the roads are freezing over again so this afternoon was the perfect time to make our gingerbread houses and then Mikael surprised us with the Polar Express movie! Experiencing the holidays with the boys is literally the best thing ever. It doesn't get any better than this!

Masons Preschool Christmas Program

This little 4 year old did a fantastic job at his Christmas program today! We celebrated him doing such a great job smiling, singing and participating afterwards by getting to cheer C on at soccer and then a fun pancake breakfast for lunch!

Looking at Christmas lights and last full day of school before Christmas break

We have gone to look at Xmas lights a few times now and the boys love it! Their favorite is Candy Cane lane near Ted Drewes! Hopefully will make it to AB Brewery, Garden Glow or Zoo Glow next week too! 

Today was their last full day of school before Xmas. Mason has a Christmas party and program next Monday and then is out too!

First Family of 5 vehicle!

After a lot of thinking and debating we traded in Mikaels highlander for a mini van this week! The boys are obsessed and think the sliding doors and rear entertainment system is the absolute best! We had Jen and Elliot watch them while we went to sign papers and get a tutorial. When we got to their house we had then close their eyes and come outside. Thy were both soooo excited!
