I really do appologize for not keeping the blog up to date! And just to make sure I never forget how lucky we are to have the best family, best friends, and best calendar; I feel the need to document the last 16ish weeks real quick. And I have to add that I have the most supportive husband ever! It is very strange but in the last 6 months I have had to travel a lot more than him for work.,....and when I say more than him, it really means he has only traveled once in the last 6 months.....and i have had to travel a ton!
So thank you Mikael for dealing with my crazy work travel and fun friend activites! I couldn't do it without you!
Here it goes......in the last 16ish weeks.....
We/I have been to Chicago 4x, Mexico 1x, Kansas City 4x, Destin 1x, and New Orleans 1x! We have had 2 wonderfully fantastic weddings!!! Congrats to Greg and Angie Hunsucker and Cara and Kevin Roth! And we wish we could have made it to Julie Wegmanns wedding, but Mikael did actually watch Joseph, Madeline, Mason, Lily, and Molly so the rest of my family could attend! I have had 2 Bachelorette Parties...woo hoo to Meggie and Cara! We were able to celebrate the Seidelmans in Kansas City at their Baby Shower!!!And we had 1 engagement party...can't wait to celebrate Meggie and Justin in Michigan in Sept! Oh and 1 bridal shower for Julie and Christa Wegmann!
We were also lucky to have Mark and Sheri Olson come to visit....along with Christie and Jevon Heany! And we hosted Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Mikaels 30th Bday! We also celebrated Erica's birthday (Thanks Lindners for hosting!), my moms bday, Elliots Bday, and Jennifers Birthday and finally this weekend Masons 1st Birthday!!
During the crazy times we were able to enjoy some good tunes at 2 concerts and great entertainment at 3-4 Cardinals game and 1 Chicago Cubs game....including watching the Sandlot at Busch Stadium!
Oh yea....and Mikael and I both have been fully employed during the past few months!
Thank you to everyone that helped with Mason (Both families, Katie Stone, Rose Darabcsek, etc) and helped with Lily (Jennifer, Elliot, and Ashley & Joe Potwora)! Special thanks to the Jeppsons for always letting us stay with them at their "almost old house" (somehow they are managing a move tomorrow) and for always helping us with Mason when we are in Kansas City! We had an amazing 1st half of the year and wouldn't have been able to do it all without you!
Love you all very much! And now after this weekend, we are relaxing!
