Well last night we decided it was time to trim Masons hair. I really didn't want to, but it has been a little crazy and outta control since the middle of April..... So it was time! He sat and let me do an ok job, but was very curious! Oh and then Mikael felt it was necessary to add a little gel!

Mothers Day, a week with Grandma and 2 Cardinals games!
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for a weekend on the way to Topeka to help Gram get her house ready to sell. we were so glad they were around to help Mikael watch Madeline, Joseph, Mason and molly (the Jeppsons dog) and maggie and sadie (my parents dogs) while everyone was at Julie Wegmanns Wedding (5/4). Then on the way back Grandma stayed for a week and watched mason! Mason loved seeing both of them and spent a fun afternoon at Faust Park!
We had a lovely mothers day! Mimi, Papa, Grandma, Aunt Jennifer, Elliot and I feasted on wonderful omelets that Mikael prepared! it was a gorgeous day so we hung out on our patio! While grandma was in town Mason went to a cardinals game with the Potworas and dadda and grandma!
At the end of the week he was lucky enough to go to another game with Aunt Jennifer, Elliot and momma and dadda!

A week at home with dadda! And a visit to Momma office May 6-10th
Masons first week off from daycare was spent with Dadda! Mikael took a week vacation so he could watch Mason and get some stuff done around the house. I think they had a fantastic time together! They also came to visit me at work one day and Mason loved getting into everything in my office!
Trying to find a life jacket for our upcoming trip to Destin at the end of may!
Lounging after nap time.
Mason loves swinging!!
If the pantry has been left open, Mason now goes to his section/shelves in the pa try and grabs his favorite food!
We thought the pencil holder was very interesting.4

10 Months old and last day of daycare
I can't believe I am writing a post about mason being 10 months old. Time is flying and he is getting so big! He is super fast at crawling and basically crawls on 3 limbs because he is so focused on getting some where fast! He pulls up on anything he can get his hands on and enjoys walking along any fixed object! He is a pro at walking with his little dinosuaser walker toy. His personality is adorble, he melts my heart every day with his expressions! He loves bouncing up and down on his knees and tush (we know he is dancing)! The latest thing he does is try to put his index into our mouths and then he puts it in his and giggles! I have gotten a few kisses, but they come very sparingly. Today he did start to blow me a kiss though!!
I wouldn't say he is getting clingy, but when we get home from work he crawls right over to us and stands at our feet, and waits to be picked up, while balancing at our feet. And he definetly prefers to be held by the person he knows best when there are multiple people in a room.
We are lucky because Mason still goes down around 7-8pm at night and sleeps until 7am. He still takes 2 naps a day and both are usually 2 hours long. He is a good eater and eats yogurt bites, puffs, baby jar food, baby yogurt and then samples whatever we happen to be eating. He takes formula during the day and usually has about 3 bottles during the day and then I am still nursing in the morning and bedtime. We are still amazed at how laid back and happy he is every day. He loves exploring in his playroom and plays with all of this toys. He pulls up whenever he can and walks around holding onto whatever he can get his hands on. He still has 6 teeth (4 top and 2 bottom) and they are too cute! He loves reading and enjoys the touch/feel books.
We are excited to announce that Mason had his last day of daycare on Friday May 3rd. We really liked Chesterfield Childrens Center, but we are so happy that Jennifer and Carrie Twellman will be watching him this summer and fall. He will miss his teachers, Miss Kristen and Miss Paula and the School Directors/Owners.

Mason Clapping at 10.5 Months Old and Giggling!
This video is just a cute little example of Masons cute little laugh. Mikael was playing around with a football and making noises and Mason thought it was hilarious!
Mason has been a mover and shaker for the last few months, but hasn't really clapped....until earlier this week. Mikael, Grandma, Ashley Potwora and Joe Potwora were at the Cardinals Game on Monday night (Thanks Joe for the tickets) and Mason clapped when Matt Holliday scored. At least that is the story Mikael is sticking too. I was in Chicago for a work trip, so I wasn't actually present. The video posted is from this week when he wanted to show off his new skills briefly. We are pretty proud!

Aunt Erica's bday, KC for greg/Angie's wedding, and holding a bottle
We were very sad we couldn't be with Aunt Erica on her actual bday, but mason tried to make up for it!! We were in KC for greg/Angie's wedding, which meant another fantastic visit to the Jeppsons!! Lauren and Joe were so great to watch mason Friday and Saturday night for us! We had a blast at the Hunsuckers wedding and then headed back to Stl on Sunday to visit the Lindner family and celebrate Erica's bday! On the way up to KC, Mason decided he wanted to hold his bottle on his own!! He also has this new game on road trips; he likes to drop his toys and pacifiers into "the dark hole". It's Imbetween his seat and the door, which we can't reach while sitted. He is definitely getting his own little personality!!
