The worst part of going to back to work is not being able to keep the blog up to date and not taking tons of pictures during the week!
Mason is getting so big and has a ton of personality! At 14.5 weeks he weighed in at 14lbs 13oz. Also around 14 weeks he really started moving on his playmat!!! He rolls from his back to tummy within seconds of being down on his mat. He also loves playing with the octopus and other toys. Around 15 weeks he started lifting his head up about 45-90degrees. It is super cute!!! He also has a way of scooting in his mat. Finally we have given up on swaddling him at night. He usually gets at least 1 hand and arm out by the morning. And he now can roll from his back to tummy even if swaddled so we had to stop. So Mason 1....Ashley & Mikael 0.... He gets to sleep on his Side and tummy at night now.
Other exciting developments (15-16wks) mason can sometimes put his pacifier back in his mouth when it is on his "ducky clip". He also likes to put his hand on the bottle as we feed him. The best development is his adorable giggle! We can usually get him to giggle during diaper changes and early in the morning!

Sleepy Baby!!! Zzzzz
Yesterday we went to Ryan Stines 1st birthday party. Mason was awake for most of it and it was outside. It was a little chilly but he did great. So not sure if it was the cold air or bday party but he slept Sooo well last night! We put him down after the mizzou game around 10:15 and he slept for 11 hours. Mikael and I both woke up and looked at each other with curious faces. Typically mason wakes up once or twice in the middle of the night looking for his pacifier so I usually wake up and go give it to him. Last night neither Mikael nor I had to get up!!! What a weird amazing feeling. Mason slept so well that by 9am we were kinda getting worried that something was wrong! ( obviously new parent syndrome)! But he woke up around 9:15.
In the picture Mason is 14 weeks an Ryan is 1.
