He sits in a normal chair for all meals, as he decided awhile ago that the high chair was beneath him. He feeds himself and prefers big cups with little assistance. He is starting to help put on and take off clothes at bathtime. He decides if he needs to blow his nose or wipe his face and does it on his own, and he loves washing his hands! He can put on his hats and is getting good at his jackets/sweaters.
He still uses sign language, but usually says the word too. He knows tons of animals sounds and words. He has a few cute phrases too: "1,2,3 Go!" "Yes,yes, please". "Go, Dadda go" (when on runs). "Ok" (he literally sounds British when he says ok).
He loves balls, playing t-ball, trucks, trains, lily (he gets a kick out of everything she does), dancing, music, climbing ladders at playgrounds, older girls, horses "neigh neighs", books, getting kiss sandwiches and play dates with his friends!
He is so independent these days and on a not happy note has started to show signs of random temper tantrums periodically. They happen every so often and seem to start out of the blue. But we are learning how to deal with them. He also enjoys using the word "no" , however he will quickly follow it with a "yes" if he realizes he actually does want something.
He takes 1 nap/day usually 2-3hrs and still is an awesome sleeper at night! We put him down between 7-8pm and he usually sleeps til 6:45-7:30am.
Also at almost 19 months mason cloned out of his crib and pack n play. So he sleeps in his crib, however the mattress is on the floor now.
He loved watching the workers trim down the tree and cars passing by! Oh and the truck was super cool too!
