St. Patrick's Day 2014!

Years ago my dad, Mike Garrison and Mr. Sheldon decided to buy a firetruck together. Once a year it makes it way to Dogtown for the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade! It has always been such a blast but we were especially excited to share the experience with Mason this year!! I made a special t-shirt for the day for Mason to wear! And I think Papa got a kick out of it! 

We were a little nervous about mason getting in a decent nap before the parade, but everything worked out great! We were able to find close parking and got down to the firetruck by 11:45. The parade started at 12:30 and we finally started rolling around 1:30! Mason was in absolute awe the entire day!!! He couldn't get over Papa's firetruck! And he was the luckiest boy of the day because he got to ride shot gun and control the Siren! Mr. Garrison drove the truck and I held mason. He loved waving to all the spectators along the parade route. He also got a kick out of waving to Mimi, Papa and dadda, as they were walking outside the firetruck handing out beads to the spectators! We had a wonderful day and we can't wait to do it again next year with Baby Olson #2. And hopefully the jeppsons are able to make it next year!
