Yep all the toys and he wants to sit and play in the diaper box!

Teaching Christopher the in and outs of potty training.

"You go potty too baby Christopher?!"

Working mommy for suckers and m&ms

We officially started potty training (somewhat casually) while in Atlanta 9/21/14. We ask mason frequently if he needs to go potty and make him try. In the last 2 weeks he has gotten really good at peeing in the potty! And will even usually tell us when he has to go potty. He gets M&Ms anytime he pees on the poty and he loves that! He hasn't been so great at pooping! He still hides and avoids the potty for that. Although he has figured out how to take advantage of the system. He will request to watch part of a movie or say he needs the candy 1st... His exact words are usually "it help me go potty". We are so in trouble, as he is a very good negotiator (definitely got the Chris Parsonage gene)!
But tonight while we were eating dinner he said "mommy I need to go potty"! He sat down and pooped right away!!!!!! So I was so surprised and super happy!!! And then he promptly asked for his m&ms and the special cookie I promised him if he pooped in the potty.
Just for reference we are still putting hmm in diapers and will transition to big boy underwear and/or pull ups shortly!
We started reading potty books and offering the potty after he turned 2 just to let him get comfortable with the idea. He is also capable of pulling his pants down, asks about the potty, sometimes wakes up from his nap dry and shows other signs of readiness.
We love just wearing a diaper now!
Not thrilled ab me taking his pic!
Again... We loved naked time and diaper time now!
The face of a big boy that just pooped on the potty all by himself for the 1st time! And told mommy he had to go! 10/6/14!!
