"Tummy Time"
I try to put Christopher on his playmat daily for what we call "tummy time". It is when Christopher plays/lays on his mat face down/tummy down. I usually invite mason to lay on the ground too so he can interact with Christopher and make him smile. Also mason has been potty training recently and enjoys being in just his diaper or big boy underwear. The other morning, mason stripped down to his undies and looked at me and said "mommy I am doing tummy time". And then let out a giggle. Later that day he said, " mommy you do tummy time with me?" The tummy time mason is referring to is walking around in just a diaper/undies! So I kinda laughed a bit and told him he definitely doesn't want to do his type of "tummy time" with mommy! Hahah

The other evening I made pasta for dinner. Mason typically prefers noodles with butter instead if pasta sauce. While I was eating my pasta with red pasta sauce I asked him if he would like some of mine. His response, " no thanks mommy... Mine is better." I couldn't help but laugh. He hadn't even tried mine! He then proceeded to say , " this is my favorite".
He is so fun these days as he speaks in full sentences and understands/comprehends everything around him. He is also a sponge and remembers everything now! So we have to watch what we say bc if we talk ab it one day he will bring it up the next day!
He let me know he had to poop and then went on the potty! So I think the surprises in the treasure chest are going to be a great reward system!!
